I'm a huge fan of blogging. I love reading posts, seeing photos, and being kept up to date on the things going on in the lives of our friends who are local, and also the friends and family we don't get to see often because of living in Tennessee . I used to have a blog where I would upload my favorite photo's from photoshoots I had done to display my photographer-ness. Well several months ago I decided that taking a break from photography was the best choice for me at this time in my life, so I can focus on school. I do miss the photography aspect, so while I'm on a hiatus, I'll continue blogging. I've always loved to write, and pride myself on the fact that I'm pretty good at it. So I've decided to delv deep into the life of Matt and I and blog about our time left in Tennessee. We both hate it here, so it should be interesting.
So, for a little Matt and Ashlee update: I'm finally (and I do stress the word FINALLY) a sophomore in college. It took friggin forever to get to this point and I'm so happy about it. I feel very accomplished. Matt recently got back home from a two month deployment overseas, so we're getting back into the swings of being a married couple. It's not until Matt comes home from being away for a long time that I realize how much more mess, dishes, dirty laundry are accumulated when there are two people, versus one. He has been so helpful though! Last week was his first, of three weeks on leave, and during that time he did lots of "woman's" work. Thanks Mr. Husband! Next week we leave on vacation to our nation's capital and we're SO EXCITED! Matt has never been and I've only been once, so we're definitely ready to get our "tourist" on. We never had a real honeymoon, and every vacation we take is back to Florida where we're pulled in twenty different directions seeing friends and family. We never have enough time to enjoy spending time as a couple. This will be our first real vacation and it's about dang time.
